International Financial Services Centres Authority (Maintenance of Website) Regulations, 2022.
On 25th November 2022, the International Financial Services Centres Authority (IFSCA) issued a notification No. IFSCA/2022-23/GN/REG021, titled “International Financial Services Centres Authority (Maintenance of Website) Regulations, 2022.”
The IFSCA Maintenance of Website Regulations 2022 aim to establish a framework to create a top-tier website that is on par with those of other international financial sector regulators while adhering to the standards and guidelines set by the Government of India and other relevant agencies. These regulations cover the design, development, and maintenance of the website following existing guidelines from the Government of India and/or relevant agencies, as well as the selection of the website domain and hosting service provider.
The regulations specify that the website may display objectives, functions, and composition of the authority along with regulations, notifications, circulars, guidelines, consultation papers, reports publications, and more issued by the authority. The regulation also specifies security and audit measures mandated for the website.
